Comparative analysis of Master's degree programs in mediation

The authors consider the possibilities of mediation for the formation of a safe educational space and at the same time the lack of educational programs to train specialists in the prevention and resolution of conflicts in the educational system. Based on a comparative analysis of foreign and Russian master's programs, the authors come to the conclusion that the focus of the disciplines is more on the resolution of legal and family conflicts, as well as interdisciplinary interaction. This article provides a comparative analysis of master's degree programs in the field of mediation. The programs presented by the leading universities of the USA, Great Britain, Germany and Switzerland were selected as research objects. The authors of the study analyzed the main components of the programs, including courses on the basics of mediation, law, psychology and practical experience, as well as the duration of the program, the cost of training and the possibility of obtaining a certificate. As a result of the analysis, the strengths and weaknesses of each program were identified, as well as general trends in the field of master's education in mediation were identified. The study will allow potential students and professionals in the field of mediation to make an informed choice when searching for a master's program and focus on the best practices that are used in other countries. In addition, the article is of interest for academic and practical spheres, as it allows you to get a general idea of current trends in mediation and master's education in this field.
