Digital transformation of stylistic analysis in teaching English literature

Abstract

The relevance of the work is determined by the need to modernize educational technologies in the context of global digitalization and improve the quality of literary education through innovative approaches. The aim of the research is to develop a comprehensive model of the educational process while integrating digital stylistic analysis tools into the study of English literature. The research methodology includes a mixed approach using statistical analysis, content analysis of educational programs, and experimental research on the effectiveness of digital technologies. The empirical base is represented by data from 15 educational institutions of the Chechen Republic with a total contingent of 98 students for the period 2022-2024. The results show that the use of digital technologies in teaching students stylistic analysis increases the efficiency of literary material assimilation by 34,7%, improves students' analytical skills by 41,2% and reduces teachers' time spent preparing classes by 28,5%. The correlation coefficient between the level of digitalization of the educational process and academic results is 0.73. The practical significance of the research lies in the development of specific recommendations for optimizing the educational process with the introduction of digital stylistic analysis tools.
