Abstract

The urgency of the problem is due to the need for a conceptual rethinking of methodological approaches to teaching foreign literature in the context of digitalization of education and the growing demands on intercultural communicative competence. The theoretical analysis is based on the systematization of modern concepts of pedagogical stylistics, linguodidactics and theory of literary education. The article uses methods of conceptual analysis, comparative research, theoretical modeling and systematization of scientific approaches. The results show the potential for improving the effectiveness of the educational process when using integrative approaches to stylistic analysis. The theoretical model demonstrates the possibilities of forming cultural and discursive competence through the systematic study of artistic techniques used by American authors in their works. The practical significance lies in the creation of a conceptual framework for the development of innovative educational programs in the field of literary education and linguistic training of specialists.
