Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the role of pedagogical approaches in the formation of social adaptation and integration of children with special educational needs. The relevance of the topic is due to the need to find effective strategies for inclusive education in the context of modern challenges. The purpose of the work is to identify and substantiate the key pedagogical conditions that contribute to the successful socialization of children with OOP. The methodological basis consisted of: analysis of normative legal documents and scientific literature, a survey of teachers (n=120), a series of semi-structured interviews with parents (n=20), a case study of inclusive practices (n=5). Quantitative data were processed using descriptive and inductive statistics, qualitative data were processed through content analysis and conceptual mapping. It is established that the leading factors of social adaptation are: early onset of psychological and pedagogical support, a team approach, reliance on the strengths of the child, active involvement of the family. Typical institutional barriers and limitations are identified, and a set of recommendations for overcoming them is proposed. The results of the study are significant for the development of an inclusive educational space and can be used in the design of adaptive educational programs. Promising areas of work are related to the cross-cultural analysis of inclusive practices, the study of delayed social effects of inclusion.
