Innovative methodologies in the field of education using the example of the introduction of artificial intelligence into the Russian higher education system

Abstract

Digitalization and technological transformations are revolutionizing the field of education. Artificial intelligence (AI) as one of the key trends opens up new horizons for optimizing educational processes and personalizing learning. This study is aimed at analyzing the potential of introducing AI into the Russian higher education system. The methodology includes structured interviews with experts (n=25), an analysis of best practices, and a case study of AI implementation in universities. Four key areas of AI application have been identified: adaptive learning (64% of experts), proctoring (48%), intelligent tutors (36%), predictive analytics (32%). The coefficient of consistency of expert assessments is 0.78. Barriers to the introduction of AI have been identified: lack of competence (76%), infrastructure constraints (52%). A conceptual framework for integrating AI into the educational ecosystem is proposed. The results obtained indicate the significant potential of AI for the transformation of the educational paradigm and can be used to develop digitalization strategies for Russian universities. It is advisable to focus further research on assessing the socio-economic effects of AI solutions and validating the proposed model.
