Abstract
This study is devoted to the study of pedagogical strategies for integrating innovative technologies into the educational process in order to increase the level of student engagement. A conceptual analysis of the literature from highly rated journals for the period from 2018 to 2023 was carried out, the main trends and approaches in this field were highlighted. Based on a critical understanding of terminological discrepancies, the author's definition of key concepts is proposed. Actual gaps in research have been identified, and the novelty and non-triviality of the ideas presented have been argued. The empirical base consisted of data from a survey of 450 teachers and 1,200 secondary school students, as well as the results of a pedagogical experiment involving 120 teachers. Methods of statistical analysis, factor analysis, and structural equation modeling are applied. It was found that the most effective strategies are gamification of the educational process (d=0.84), the use of adaptive learning systems (β=0.79), and the use of virtual reality technologies (r=0.76). A conceptual model for the integration of innovative technologies has been developed, explaining 67% of the variance in student engagement. The results obtained have high theoretical and practical significance, and open up prospects for further research.
