To the question of the education of a culture of health of younger schoolchildren in extracurricular activities

Abstract

The priority direction of modern state policy in the current socio-economic conditions of the development of Russian society is the education of a culture of schoolchildren's health in order to strengthen and maintain health, as well as educate a healthy younger generation. In accordance with the regulatory legal documents: the Federal Law "On Education in the Russian Federation" (Federal Law, 2012), the Federal State Educational Standard for Primary General Education (Order of the Ministry of Education, 2021) and other regulatory legal acts, saving and strengthening the health of students , the formation of their understanding of the value of health, a healthy lifestyle is becoming one of the primary tasks of the education system as a whole. Primary school age is rightfully considered the most sensitive period in terms of educating a culture of health, motives and needs of a healthy lifestyle, since it is at this age that the assimilation of information related to a healthy lifestyle takes place, life principles are determined, an individual style of behavior is developed, the ability to self-knowledge and self-awareness is formed. , that is, there is a basis for the manifestation of conscious individual activity in the field of a healthy lifestyle. The formation of a culture of health among students, the education of the need to lead a healthy lifestyle is a complex multi-stage process, all the possibilities for organizing which are both in the classroom and in extracurricular activities. It is the latter that has a great potential for forms, means and methods for the successful implementation of this process. The article deals with the problem of educating the health culture of younger schoolchildren in extracurricular activities on the example of the program of the course "The ABC of Health Saving".
