Modern means of forming the perception ability of schoolchildren

Abstract

The article analyzes modern means of forming the perception ability of schoolchildren in the educational process. The author explores the concept of «abilities» and various approaches to their definition. It is concluded that this is a complex of individual psychological properties that ensure a person's readiness to master and successfully perform certain types of activities. The article examines in detail the perceptual faculty, its structure and types. Summarizing the trends of the modern educational system, the author gives a detailed description of modern means of perception formation: digital technologies and multimedia, active learning methods, practice-oriented methods, visualization and multi-sensory techniques.
