Abstract

At the present stage, various requirements are imposed on the development of the educational ecosystem in Russia: special attention is paid to the formation of civic culture among students of higher educational institutions. This is evidenced by the activities carried out within the framework of the implementation of the federal project «Patriotic Education», which are reflected in the annual monitoring of the value orientations of modern youth, conducted by the Institute for the Study of Childhood, Family and Upbringing. In this regard, there was a need to combine various aspects of students' civic education and create a unified pedagogical system. The interaction between the university and the institutions of local self-government in the process of forming the civic culture of students is an important component of the higher education system. This system has the main features of social systems – orderliness, integrity and the ability to interact with the environment. The article presents the results of the analysis of the interaction of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education «AGPU» and the institutions of local self-government in Armavir as a system, the role of participation in the formation of civic culture of students from both sides is determined.
