Abstract

This article considers one of the topical problems of linguistics as the organization of political discourse in speech communication. Political discourse refers to a special type of communication, which is characterized by a high degree of manipulation. The essence of this study is the study of linguistic manipulation, which manifests itself actively in political discourse, through the impact on emotions or the choice of certain words to denote certain objects. In political discourse, in order to achieve the set goals, it is those linguistic means that most effectively contribute to the achievement of the predicted result. Another important aspect is the appearance of a politician in public. Political debate is broadcast through the media, making interviews and statements about politicians available to any potential voter. For the same reason, politicians must carefully plan their statements and use them wisely and to their advantage. One aspect of these public speaking is thespeaking style of the speakers. Of course, this can be brought to a certain extent. There are politicians who are called "good speakers", as well as those whose speeches would be better forgotten. But not only the study of rhetoric influences the formation of this opinion, but also the corresponding speech context, the emotional state of the speaker, as well as his voice, which, in turn, must also correspond to the content of the speech in order to achieve the desired effect. In this case, the situation in which the speech is delivered also plays a decisive role.
