Abstract

This paper investigates the integration of digital tools and face-to-face instruction within university education. The research evaluates how an interactive linguistic simulator affects the communicative competence of junior students. A balanced educational system ensures that learners maintain high academic standards while they engage in modern digital environments. The study relies on theoretical analysis and empirical data which researchers gathered from students at the Peoples Friendship University of Russia. The pedagogical experiment involved one hundred junior students, whom the researchers divided into equal control and experimental groups for one academic semester, where the experimental group combined physical seminars with regular practice on interactive digital platforms. The findings demonstrate that digital simulators improve grammatical accuracy and lexical variety in spoken language. The experimental group also showed a marked decrease in speech anxiety and a higher level of academic motivation. The proposed model offers a structured approach to hybrid learning where educators combine traditional methods with interactive technological platforms. The results provide practical recommendations for curriculum designers and university teachers because they address the challenges of modernizing humanities education.
