Abstract

This article explores the feasibility of integrating modern artificial intelligence technologies into the process of assessing student learning, a crucial part of the educational process. Organizing such assessments is a mandatory part of the educational process, requiring significant time for teachers and increasing student anxiety. This article analyzes views on the effectiveness of implementing artificial intelligence technologies in the modern higher education system. It also explores ways in which these digital technologies can be used to improve the educational process in general and the assessment process in particular. This article presents empirical data reflecting attitudes toward the integration of artificial intelligence technologies into higher education among educational process participants. Taking into account the current state of artificial intelligence technology, an algorithm for assessing and monitoring course mastery has been developed, allowing for more comprehensive student engagement in the educational process. The main advantages and risks of this algorithm are outlined. Particular attention is paid to combining the capabilities of artificial intelligence with the teacher’s professionalism to increase the objectivity and transparency of assessment. The conclusion highlights potential future improvements to this algorithm, taking into account the constantly evolving nature of artificial intelligence technologies.
