The development of sketch technique in the Russian theater school. Methods of K.S. Stanislavsky and N.V. Demidov

Abstract
The author explores the problem of the mutual influence of various methods of using sketching techniques in teaching acting. The classical approach has undergone a significant evolution over the past hundred years. The principles of education of future actors based on improvisation, laid down by K.S. Stanislavsky, were creatively comprehended and developed by his famous pupil N.V. Demidov. The article analyzes the similarities and differences between the two approaches, identifies the possibility of their mutual use in teaching the acting profession in higher education.
