Датский и английский языки: языковая политика в контексте датской системы образования

В статье рассматривается политика применения английского языка как языка обучения (EMI) в контексте высшего образования Дании. Один из вопросов заключается в важности концепции образования на родном языке в Дании. С какими трудностями сталкиваются датчане, не говорящие поанглийски, в отношении использования английского языка в высших учебных заведениях и как можно решить такие проблемы. Материалы и методы. Авторы анализируют различные позиции в национальных дебатах по языковому вопросу в Дании и рассматривают отношение к этим позициям среди датчан. Результаты. Результаты показывают, что политика EMI, по-видимому, привела, в целом, к более или менее положительным результатам, считается, что датчане обычно хорошо владеют английским языком, вплоть до того, что их позиционируют как двуязычных граждан, и отношение к английскому языку в целом позитивное по всей стране. Однако в последние годы все более широкое использование английского языка в высшем образовании стало предметом дискуссий в Дании. В этом исследовании излагаются различные позиции в национальных дебатах в Дании, и исследуется отношение к этим позициям среди датчан. Вывод. Основываясь на представленных фактах, авторы приходят к выводу, что исход процесса интернационализации в обозримом будущем пока не ясен. Учитывая недавние политические решения по языковому вопросу, в интернационализации датского высшего образования могут произойти значительные изменения.
