Abstract

Vocal music teaching occupies an important place in the system of music education and teaching at colleges and universities, and is also one of the main professional courses in music teaching at colleges and universities. Despite the fact that the teaching of vocal music in colleges and universities in China has achieved good results, with the development of society, the traditional model of teaching in China has proved unable to meet the needs of modern teaching in the field of development, especially in terms of the concept, as well as the content and method of teaching, which seriously hinders the development of modern teaching. Therefore, it is necessary to reform vocal teaching in Chinese universities. This article first briefly analyzes the current situation with vocal teaching in colleges and universities, and then suggests some strategies for reforming teaching, which should be aimed at developing professional talents. The author says that it is necessary to carry out reforms in modern teaching methods in order to make teaching diversified and offer students flexible and purposeful training based on real situations and personal characteristics of students to meet the needs of social development of talents.
