Abstract

This paper explores the specifics of the organization of the educational space in the context of pedagogical design and its technologies. The implementation of the educational process depends on the conditions and environment in which it takes place, and therefore it is important to properly define the structure and content of the space in which the teacher and students interact. The architecture of the educational space is a complex pedagogical phenomenon that reflects the implementation of traditional methodology and modern teaching and upbringing techniques. The architecture of an educational space reflects not only its structural components, but also the activities of its participants, which are aimed at achieving educational and upbringing goals. It is the unity of structure as a component of stability and activity that reflects the dynamics of social development that allows us to say that only within the framework of a special organization is it possible to achieve the educational results that are specified in the Federal State Standards. The aim of the study is to clarify the concept of the architecture of the educational space as a basis for the educational environment; the object of the study is the educational space, and the subject is its transformation into an educational environment. Based on a theoretical and methodological analysis of publications on the problem, the paper proposes a model of the architecture of the educational space that combines a universal basis, which relies on the system-activity, competence-based and axiological approaches, and a variable superstructure that takes into account the specifics of a particular institution, region and the educational needs of students.
