Abstract

The article presents a fragment of a pilot comparative study of two different methods of sound exposure to a pregnant woman and her prenatal child: the American «heart» method «Preloning/Baby Plus» (author – B. Logan) and the Russian musical method «Sonatal» (author – M.L. Lazarev). The work was carried out in the Center for Rehabilitation Treatment of Children with Chronic Bronchopulmonary Pathology of the Northern Administrative District of Moscow in 1991-1992. As a control, a group of pregnant women listening to classical music was taken. The purpose of the study was to create pedagogical conditions for optimizing the development of a prenatal child within the framework of the prenatal mother-child dyad. The main objective of the study was to study the possibilities of sound and musical impact on the motor reactions of a prenatal child. In the course of the study, it was found that the prenatal child reacts to external influences, demonstrating selective motor activity. Data were obtained that in the process of regular classes (for 14-16 weeks) there is an increase in the activity of the child's movement during the classes themselves. In general, the pilot study obtained important data on the presence of motor and mental reactions of the child to external influences, which served as the foundation for further research into the possibilities of prenatal education.
