Pedagogical conditions for increasing motivation in foreign language lessons

Abstract

In modern conditions, there is a need to intensify and improve the process of learning foreign languages. In recent years, there has been an active search for ways to improve learning as a condition for achieving an increase in the effectiveness of the process of mastering a foreign language by students at a university. It is the awareness of the importance of pedagogical communication that ensures the formation of a highly professional and competent teacher who would make the meaning and nature of teaching foreign languages to students in accordance with the requirements of the modern educational process, basing humanism, personality-oriented communication, an impartial attitude to the subject of communication, taking into account the interests of the interlocutor in foreign language lessons. Over the past decades, various aspects of communication problems have been studied: forms, methods, structure, technology of pedagogical communication, communicative needs, abilities, methods of communicative influence, etc. The formation of motivational readiness to learn a foreign language among students is most effectively carried out in stages, throughout the entire period of study with the help of specially organized work, taking into account modern trends in the development of digitalization in education. In this regard, there was a need to build an algorithm for step-by-step formation of students' motivational readiness to learn a foreign language. In this article, the author conducted a scientific analysis and critical understanding of the implementation of pedagogical conditions for increasing motivation in foreign language lessons.
