The results of experimental work on the formation of socio-cultural competence of future music teachers

The article deals with the problem of the formation of socio-cultural competence of future music teachers, presents the results of experimental work on the problem under study. The purpose of the study is to form sociocultural competence in future music teachers, ensuring successfulmusical and pedagogical activity. To achieve the purpose of the study, the following methods were used: pedagogical observation; individual conversations; questionnaires; pedagogical experiment.The author has developed a technology for the formation of socio-cultural competence of future music teachers in the process of professional training. To test the developed model, initial, intermediate and final sections were carried out with experimental and control groups. As a result, it was revealed that the students of the experimental group surpass the subjects of the control group in terms of the level of socio-cultural competence.
