Abstract

In modern realities, much attention is paid to the development of information technologies, which in turn have a great impact on human life. The most relevant area of information technology implementation is law enforcement. The use of technologies such as 3D modeling and virtual reality technologies allows law enforcement agencies to solve and investigate complex crimes. The article discusses the introduction of 3D modeling and augmented reality technologies into the educational process when studying the discipline "Special equipment of internal affairs bodies". The author focuses on modern methods and tools that can significantly improve the effectiveness of learning through a more visual and interactive presentation of the material. The use of 3D modeling allows you to create accurate virtual copies of objects used in criminology, which contributes to a better understanding of the principles of their operation and application features. Augmented reality, in turn, provides an opportunity to immerse yourself in various scenarios that are close to the real working conditions of law enforcement agencies. The cases of successful application of these technologies in educational institutions training internal affairs officers are considered, and positive results are noted, such as increasing the level of student engagement and improving their practical skills. The author emphasizes the importance of integrating 3D technologies and augmented reality into educational programs to train qualified specialists who are ready to effectively use modern special equipment in their professional activities. In conclusion, the potential for further development and use of these innovative technologies in the system of law enforcement personnel training is noted.
