Abstract

In modern China, there is a problem of physical education and physical culture of younger schoolchildren, which consists in the fact that there is a contradiction between the traditional program of physical education and physical culture of students, which is balanced within the framework of the development of the socialist system of China, and modern trends indicating that exercises and activities that promote physical activity, as a rule, are less of a priority for the vast majority of the country 's citizens, this has a negative impact on the motivation of younger Chinese primary school students to exercise during school and extracurricular hours, taking into account the development of the socialist system and national characteristics of education in China. This article presents the results of a sociological study aimed at identifying the needs of 1942 younger Chinese elementary school students, determining their motivation to constantly attend physical education, physical culture and sports classes. The results of the study allowed us to establish that the key reasons for the lack of motivation of younger Chinese primary school students to perform sports exercises during school and extracurricular time are the lack of physical abilities and qualities, the discrepancy between desires (desired image) of reality, the difference in incentives for physical education, physical culture and sports among younger schoolchildren and their parents. To increase the motivation of younger schoolchildren, the author proposes an experimental program to improve the physical culture of students, which will involve the implementation of promising measures for the development of physical qualities and their improvement, which, in turn, contribute to the formation of a positive attitude of younger schoolchildren to an active motor regime, taking into account the development of the socialist system and national characteristics of education in China.
