Abstract

This study is devoted to the analysis of the use of adaptive educational programs in teaching English to students of various professional fields in non-linguistic universities. The relevance of the topic is due to the need to improve the effectiveness of language training in conditions of limited time and multi-level groups. The purpose of the work is to identify the features and advantages of the adaptive approach compared to the traditional one, as well as to develop recommendations for its implementation. The research methodology included a theoretical literature analysis, a survey of students (n=120) and teachers (n=15), statistical data processing (Student's t-test, correlation analysis). It was found that the use of adaptive programs contributes to an increase in motivation (r=0.68; p<0.01), an increase in academic performance (by 17.5%), and an improvement in independent work skills (by 23.8%). The principles of adaptive content development are formulated, and the stages of its implementation are proposed. The results have theoretical value for linguodidactics and practical significance for the organization of language training at the university. The prospects of the research are related to the study of the long-term effects of adaptive learning and the creation of specialized linguistic buildings.
