This article analyzes topical issues of verification by investigators of verbal strategies and tactics of perjury, demonstrated by suspects, accused and witnesses during interrogations as independent procedural actions. classes in the history of the German language. Since writing, according to most philologists, is the most reliable source of information about the language, the analysis of the surviving artifacts at the disposal of researchers allows us to make, with a certain degree of objectivity, an idea of the vocabulary and grammatical structure of the language of a particular period of the studied society, in particular when studying the history of the German language. At the same time, one has to take into account that almost every written monument of this kind can differ in specific spelling and phonetic features. This study is devoted to the search for an optimal way out of such a situation.
