China is one of the oldest countries in the world, located in East Asia. At the beginning of the new era, it was the largest feudal state that had existed since the middle of the XIV century. until the middle of the XVII century . The Ming Dynasty was ruled by the Chinese Ming Dynasty in the middle of the 18th century. The Manchu genealogy preserves a large amount of authentic Manchu history and cultural materials and is an important source of information for people studying Manchu history and local history. However, for historical reasons, many valuable Manchu genealogical records were destroyed, especially the Manchu genealogical records preserved among the people, which were limited by conditions and became orphans or fragments. At the same time, people's cultural ideas about genealogy are weak, which puts an already small number of Manchu genealogies facing an extinction crisis. Based on this feature, some scientists and departments began to engage in the rescue, collection and systematization of Manchurian genealogy. In the 1980s, many universities and institutes in China paid attention to the collection, storage and organization of the preserved Manchurian genealogy. Such as the National Library, the Metropolitan Library, the Minzu University Library and other departments, including 23 books on Manchu genealogy in the library of the Chinese Minzu University, are more valuable and characteristic. Li Ting spoke in detail about the 23 genealogies of the Manchus collected in the library of the Chinese University of Minzu, in the "Review of Manchu genealogy in the collection of ancient books of the Library of the Minzu University of China" ("Jin Tu Academic Journal") There are not many Tibetan Manchu genealogical records in the country, and some Manchu genealogical records are "orphan copies".
