Abstract

One of the challenges facing higher education in the context of social transformations, intensive technological development, internationalization and globalization of educational processes is the introduction to the European Higher Education Area, academic and professional mobility, lifelong learning, world and domestic ranking of higher education institutions (Ranking Higher Education Institutions) in order to achieve their competitiveness, is digitalization. Digitalization of higher education now is not just a priority and urgent requirement of the time, but one of the newest conditions for the existence of a modern education system in general and Higher education. The urgent need for highly qualified specialists in engineering specialties, who are trained by technical institutions of higher education, is caused by the fact that the success of the development of the scientific, technical and industrial complex of our state depends on their training. The competitiveness of engineers in the course of scientific and technological progress directly depends on the formation of their professional, highly specialized skills (hard skills), soft, universal skills (soft skills) and digital skills (digital skills).
