Archiving, preservation and indexing
The website retains the issue archive, individual article pages, metadata and linked correction and retraction notices. Full texts are hosted in XMLLIB (https://xmllib.ru). The publisher retains source and published files and maintains their backups, together with backups of the database and website settings, integrity checks and restoration tests.
Backups are stored separately from the production system with controlled access. Published versions and the history of material changes are preserved. If the journal ceases publication or changes platform, the publisher arranges transfer to an appropriate archive within the rights available and publishes the new access location. Persistent identifiers and links between articles and notices are maintained during migration.
Current external archives, libraries and indexing databases are listed on the About the Journal page, with links to the journal’s records and accurate coverage information. The editors keep these details current. Presence in a search engine or bibliographic database is not a guarantee of long-term preservation, which depends on the actual preservation system and agreements.
Material is supplied to the Russian Centre for Scientific Information (https://rcsi.science), libraries, identifier services and indexing systems where the necessary rights and personal-data legal grounds are in place. Supplying full text for storage, assessment, indexing and analysis does not change the declared reader access terms. Corrected information is sent to services that previously received the corresponding records.
