The methodology of the formation of musical perception of students in the process of systematic acquisition of musical language based on the implementation of the spiral dynamics of thinking

Abstract

The article is devoted to the presentation of fundamental approaches to the formation of musical perception among students in music lessons in secondary schools. The proposed methodology is based on an analysis of the essential aspects of musical perception revealed in works on musical psychology, musicology and pedagogy of musical education. As a methodological basis, a systematic approach has been chosen that implements the basic principles of K. Graves' spiral dynamics concept, which allows us to consider the process of musical thinking development as an evolutionary, continuously developing spiral. The content of the article is based on a scientific understanding of the laws of musical art and musical communication, as well as summarizes the authors' many years of pedagogical experience. The work presents the stages of the formation of musical perception in the learning process, reveals the mechanisms and levels of musical perception, substantiates the role of musical experience as the central link of this process. A system of musical and didactic games aimed at developing auditory experience, rhythmic feeling, imagination and the ability to create is proposed, and methods that activate the emotional and intellectual activity of students are described. The complex nature of the presented methodology ensures its versatility and adaptability to various age and educational groups.
