Abstract

The teaching assistants of Chinese universities are an indispensable part of ensuring the normal operation of Chinese university mechanisms, and their working status and psychological factors have a certain impact on the efficiency and quality of the work in Chinese universities. Therefore, it is urgent to improve the enthusiasm of teaching assistants in Chinese universities. The study used CNKI, Wanfang, and VIP databases to conduct a retrospective study on job burnout of Chinese university teaching assistants from 2000 to 2022. The review showcased key research areas, including the concept of Chinese university teaching assistants, relevant factors affecting job burnout of Chinese university teaching assistants, and coping strategies for job burnout of Chinese university teaching assistants. Finally, the shortcomings and conclusions of the review research were discussed.
