Development of students' reading literacy through TRIZ pedagogy

Abstract

In modern society, there is a decrease in interest in reading. This is due to the abundance of information in the media and society as a whole. At the same time, understanding textual information continues to be an important aspect for individual personal development, successful educational process and effective professional activity. New technologies are designed to solve the problem in the educational process at the primary school level. To improve reading skills in elementary school, one of the innovative approaches is proposed – TRIZ pedagogy. In this article, we will look at the benefits of using TRIZ pedagogy to improve reading skills in elementary school students. The results of the study were the results of an experiment using TRIZ technologies in the educational process of four primary classes of MBOU "Lyceum No. 149 with the Tatar language of instruction" in Kazan. It was attended by students of two 4th grades in the number of 60 people. At the initial stage, diagnostics was carried out on the basis of G.N. Kudina's methodological manual "Diagnostics of schoolchildren's reading activity". Only one class of 30 students remained on the examiner as subjects. The analysis of the results proves the effectiveness of the chosen methodology: the pedagogy of TRIZ encourages students to think outside the box, develops their creative abilities. This approach leads to a more meaningful understanding of the text and encourages students to interact with the educational material at a deeper level.
