Abstract

The article examines the relationship between physical development and academic performance among students. The study emphasizes that physical education is not only a means of promoting health, but also a catalyst for intellectual growth. In today's educational environment, characterized by high levels of stress and emotional tension, physical activity serves as a natural regulator of stress responses, reducing cortisol levels and activating the synthesis of endorphins, which directly impact cognitive functions, improving concentration, memory, and mental processes. A study conducted at a school analyzed the anthropometric data, functional indicators, and physical fitness levels of high school students. The results showed that students with higher speed and strength abilities have better academic performance. This is due to the development of their willpower. Therefore, physical training is the most important tool for the formation of a harmonious personality. The study was conducted in Krasnoyarsk on 50 eleventh-grade students of two specialized profiles, using the Pearson correlation coefficient to compare physical indicators with average academic grades.
