Abstract

The article provides an analytical review of Russian literature published in the electronic library of scientific publications. eLIBRARY.ru from 2006 to 2024, on the problem of pedagogy of health-saving activities of older age groups. The approach is formulated, which consists in the combined use of physical culture methods with the use of metered-dose physical activity technologies (Nordic walking, slow dancing, sports games) and methods that develop the emotional and cognitive sphere of students. It is concluded that it is necessary to develop and implement additional educational programs for the elderly both within the framework of theoretical training and using adaptive physical education methods. The implementation of health-saving pedagogical approaches that form the basis of gerontological programs should be carried out by professional associations of theoretical teachers and teacher trainers with the involvement of specialists with medical and psychological education.
