Mongolian and Uighur musical traditions as a resource for aesthetic and intercultural education in choreographic groups in China

Abstract

The article is devoted to the quantitative analysis of factors influencing the perception and development of traditional musical culture in the modern educational context, based on an array of personal data and statistical processing in the SPSS package. It is shown that the studied variables form a heterogeneous structure, including indicators of the central trend and variability, as well as significant differences between individual groups of respondents, which is recorded through comparative statistics and the ranking of contributions of factors. The presented correlations demonstrate the presence of statistically significant relationships between a number of parameters (including high coefficients at low p-values), which makes it possible to interpret some characteristics as mutually conditioned and potentially reinforcing each other in educational practice. A separate semantic layer of the work is related to cultural and historical issues: the mechanisms of preserving the intangible heritage and integrating China's regional traditions into the musical education system are discussed, while simultaneously being influenced by modernization and intercultural influences. The emphasis is placed on the fact that the effectiveness of familiarization with tradition depends not only on repertoire and methodological solutions, but also on the socio-psychological attitudes of students, the media environment and institutional conditions, which can act as both resources and barriers. The article is of interest for the development of diagnostic tools and management solutions in the field of music education, as it shows which combinations of factors are statistically associated with higher rates of engagement and sustained interest in traditional culture.
