Abstract

This article examines the pros and cons of artificial intelligence (AI) in education and science. It analyzes how AI can change the traditional education system and proves that these changes are surmountable. The results of studying the theoretical foundations and practical experience of using AI in the development of mathematics curricula and their implementation are presented. It is noted that the novelty of using AI increases students' interest in mathematics, motivates them to study new types of tasks, and stimulates independent study of the subject. It is concluded that AI can provide an individual and adaptive approach to learning, an interactive and immersive environment, instant feedback and access to a wide range of resources that contribute to improving knowledge of mathematics, including in the field of engineering calculations, programming and economics. This article also explores the use of artificial intelligence in China's education system to improve access to education. As a result of the study, the role of AI in China's education system was determined.
