Abstract

The article examines the issues of the direction of physical training systems for military personnel and law enforcement officers in foreign countries. The activity-based orientation of physical training is ensured by the presence in the system of a sports component, represented by one of the types of combat sports, which makes it possible to train representatives of law enforcement agencies in the use of physical force in professional activities through sports activities. At the same time, in Asian countries, significant attention is paid to the physical training of law enforcement officers. The basis of physical training as part of the professional training of public security officers (People's Police) of China are general preparatory exercises of national gymnastics called “wushu”, which allows you to master the initial level of physical fitness. Wushu includes directly gymnastic exercises, as well as demonstration techniques of combat (defensive and attacking) actions of fighters. Parts of the martial section of wushu, in which wrestling and striking types of techniques are used, experts call “sanda” and “kungfu”. Students master and improve technique, tactics and strategy for conducting hand-to-hand combat. In training employees of the People's Police of China, the competitive method is widely used, which characterizes the activity-oriented training.
