Abstract

The article deals with the actual problem of integrating scientific research into the educational process of oil and gas universities in Russia as a way to improve the quality of training highly qualified specialists. The purpose of the work is to analyze existing approaches and methods of introducing the results of scientific research into educational activities, as well as to develop practical recommendations for improving this process. During the research, such methods as system analysis, comparative analysis, the method of expert assessments, as well as questionnaires and interviews of the teaching staff and students of the country's leading oil and gas universities were used. The materials for the work were scientific publications by domestic and foreign authors, statistical data, reports on the research activities of universities, as well as the results of the authors' own research. The article provides an overview of the current state of the problem, identifies the main trends and problems of integrating science and education in the oil and gas industry. The successful practices of leading universities such as Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas (NRU), Tyumen Industrial University, Ufa State Petroleum Technological University, etc. are analyzed. The results of the study showed that the effective integration of scientific research into the educational process contributes to improving the quality of education, developing students' research competencies, creative thinking and practical problem solving skills. The authors propose a set of measures to improve the integration process, including the modernization of educational programs, the development of the scientific infrastructure of universities, stimulating the scientific activity of teachers and students, strengthening interaction with employers and scientific organizations. The implementation of the proposed recommendations will improve the efficiency of personnel training for the oil and gas industry and will contribute to the innovative development of the Russian economy.
