Management of Education is a quarterly interregional scientific and pedagogical journal that publishes the results of interdisciplinary fundamental and applied problem-oriented studies of the current state of higher education in Russia, carried out from the standpoint of modern socio – humanitarian science-sociology, pedagogy, philosophy, cultural studies, history, economics and management. The journal discusses the theory and practice of modernization of domestic and foreign higher education. Special attention is paid to the problems of training teaching and scientific personnel in postgraduate and doctoral studies, and improving the skills of higher school teachers.

The editorial board welcomes articles that cover such topical topics as

features of training and advanced training of NPR in postgraduate studies and PKI;
the place and role of the teacher in the modern pedagogical process (student-centered, mixed, inverted, project-based learning, individual educational trajectory, digitalization, mass education, etc.);
foreign experience of professional development (IGIP Centers of Engineering Pedagogy, CDIO movement, Bologna process, doctoral studies, ENTER project, etc.);
the subject of study as a product of joint activities of stakeholders, as a result of consensus of their interests.

The mission of the journal is to maintain a unified Russian (as an element of the European) research space in the field of educational Sciences (Educational Sciences, Humanities) – in geographical (interregional) and epistemological (interdisciplinary) meaning. The emphasis is on developing an intersubjective interdisciplinary language for describing, explaining and understanding educational reality, which would allow the teacher to reflect on the foundations and meaning of their activities, as well as to provide scientific communication. Such a language not only allows us to understand what is happening, but also unites the scientific and pedagogical community on the basis of the values of solidarity, commonwealth, cooperation, consolidation and co-creation.

The target audience is the scientific community of researchers of higher education (scientists, teachers of higher education, heads of universities, representatives of educational system management bodies, applicants for academic degrees). The authors and readers of the journal are specialists in the field of philosophy of education, economics of higher education, sociology of education, pedagogy of higher education, psychology, history of pedagogy and education.
