Abstract

The analysis of psychological and pedagogical literature confirms the importance of aesthetic education of children of primary school age. It is aesthetic education that will help develop the spiritual side of the student's personality at the time of mastering various types of art, as this is one of the forms of aesthetic education. Also, the relevance of this topic is confirmed by the federal law "On Education in the Russian Federation" (No. 273- FZ of December 21, 2012, with the current version from March 2022). Article 83 paragraph 1 states that “the aesthetic education of children is carried out through the implementation of educational programs in the field of arts”. This article proposes a set of diagnostic methods aimed at identifying the level of development of aesthetic qualities in schoolchildren. The results obtained in the course of primary and final pedagogical diagnostics are described. Thematic planning of events for the organization of educational work at school with the aim of developing aesthetic qualities in children of the 2nd grade of MBOU secondary school No. 15 in the city of Neryungri is proposed.
