Abstract

This article examines the relationship between general self-management ability, self-regulation style, and general self-efficacy in first-year clinical psychology students. Twenty-five first-year students participated in the study, 10 of whom agreed to participate. The General Self-Management Ability Scale, the Self-Regulation Style Questionnaire, and the General Self-Efficacy Scale were used. Descriptive indicators, correlation analysis, a graphical model of the relationships, and statistical hypotheses are presented. Statistically significant positive correlations were found between all three variables, indicating the integration of cognitive-behavioral regulatory mechanisms and subjective belief in one’s own abilities.
