Abstract

Globalization is transforming international professional and educational cooperation from an additional element into a system-forming factor in the development of sports education. Under these conditions, students at sports universities are subject to a complex array of external social factors (family, educational institutions, peers, the media, the government, the socioeconomic environment, and global trends). A key problem is the inconsistency between existing educational models, particularly in language and intercultural training, and the real needs and opportunities generated by global interaction. This reduces student motivation and limits their participation in international projects. The aim of this study is to identify and analyze the key external social factors influencing students in sports education within the context of international professional and educational cooperation and to develop recommendations for optimizing their preparation by activating and reorganizing the cooperation system itself as the primary catalyst for change. The following methods were used in this study: theoretical analysis, content analysis of international organization and public policy documents, and comparative and statistical data analysis. As a result, it was established that the system of international professional and educational cooperation acts as the main trigger that mediates and enhances the influence of external social factors on student motivation, adaptation, professional identity, and career trajectories. It was proven that through the prism of active engagement in real-life interactions with partner country universities, these challenges can be transformed into development resources.
