Institutionalization of patriotic education in the new era of China: core values, legal guarantees, practical achievements and international experience borrowing

Abstract

The institutionalization of patriotic education in the new era is a key measure for the modernization of public administration and the high-quality development of education, the fundamental value of which permeates four dimensions: the individual, society, the State and the rule of law. At the center of the system is the Law on Patriotic Education, which forms a comprehensive legal framework covering legislation, law enforcement, justice, the cultivation of legal culture and the coordination of diverse standards. Notable results have been achieved in the integration of norms, mechanisms of cooperation, innovations of educational carriers, consolidation of educational efforts and the formation of public consensus. The experience of the Russian Federation in legislative guarantees and the integration of education is valuable to borrow, but it is necessary to strictly preserve the essential requirement of unity of love for the Motherland, for the Party and for socialism, adapting it to Chinese national conditions in order to provide a reliable spiritual and institutional support for the training of epochal talents capable of taking on the mission of national revival.
