Integration of modern trends in the formation of an educational repertoire of a performing pianist

Abstract

Modern piano performance is a large layer of performing and composing musical creativity. It is characterized by a variety of approaches and techniques, a huge wealth of stylistic trends. In this context, the method of educating a performing pianist becomes particularly difficult. There is a problem of combining various directions into an integrated system, which leads to the formation of a professionally trained performer. This task can be accomplished through the application of the method of integrating modern trends in the formation of the pianist's educational repertoire. The integrative scale should be based on the key areas of piano teaching methods, such as the study of music of various styles, teaching small and large techniques, pedalization, as well as the formation of a pianist - interpreter capable of independent performing activities. The article shows how, based on these criteria, to build a holistic repertoire policy for teaching a pianist at a university.
