Integration of elements of Chinese traditional music into the modern system of music education

Abstract

The article develops the conceptual foundations for integrating elements of Chinese traditional music (CTM) into the Russian system of music education, the relevance of which is due to globalization processes and the need to enrich pedagogical practice through a dialogue of cultures. Based on the systems approach and comparative-contrastive method, the unique pedagogical potential of CTM is revealed, determined by its philosophical and cultural origins (Confucianism, Taoism, Buddhism) and system-forming elements: pentatonics, rhythm with the concept of ban, timbres-carriers of cultural codes, principles of form-building qi-cheng-zhan-he and oral tradition of passing on mastery. The need to implement integration through the synthesis of transformational and socially effective approaches while observing the principles of authenticity, adaptability, dialogicity, systematicity and cultural conformity is substantiated. Practical implementation is proposed at three interconnected levels: content (modification of music theory programs, solfeggio, music literature and practical disciplines), methodological (adaptation of oral teaching traditions, use of digital tools) and educational (development of multicultural competence, empathy, creativity). The importance of integration for updating Russian music education in the context of globalization, expanding the cultural horizons of students and strengthening Russian-Chinese humanitarian cooperation is proven, with prospects for developing methodological complexes and training personnel.
