Abstract
The study analyzes the philosophical origins and modern transformations of aesthetic perception in the educational system of Chinese elementary schools through the prism of the interaction of Confucian traditions and innovative art pedagogical practices. Historical, philosophical and cultural analysis revealed deep connections between the classical principles of Confucianism (harmony, ritual, moral perfection) and modern approaches to aesthetic education. The methodological basis of the study includes a comparative analysis of 214 curricula in 43 primary schools in various provinces of China, a series of structured interviews with teachers (n=87) and administrators of educational institutions (n=32), a qualitative analysis of pedagogical practices using a phenomenological approach. The results demonstrate that the integration of Confucian aesthetic principles into modern art teaching practices correlates with an increase in students' cognitive performance by 27,3% and an improvement in their socio-emotional skills by 31,8%. The introduction of hybrid models of aesthetic education, combining traditional and innovative elements, contributes to the formation of a holistic aesthetic perception with an efficiency coefficient of 0.83 compared with monocultural approaches. The conducted research makes a significant contribution to understanding the transformation of philosophical traditions in the context of educational modernization and offers a conceptual model for integrating Confucian heritage into modern educational practices, taking into account technological and socio-cultural changes in Chinese society.
