Methodological conditions for the implementation of discussion communication in the educational process

Abstract

The article discusses the concept of discussion communication. The forms of organization of discussion communication are described: role-playing games, round tables, group and panel discussions. In each of these forms, the students themselves play an important role, they must show independence, really take some position and defend it with the help of logical argumentation. The requirements for spontaneous speech, the ability to form a statement grammatically correctly, and knowledge of ways to express agreement or disagreement with an opponent are increasing. Debating skills involve knowledge of the basics of rhetoric (logical reasoning, knowledge of correct methods of conducting a discussion, the ability to hold on confidently), communication skills (the ability to behave in a group, kindness, politeness, calm perception of criticism), knowledge of a foreign language, the ability to comprehend information, creatively respond to an opponent's argumentation.
