Modern pedagogical strategies and approaches to teaching the discipline "Differential Equations" in higher education institutions

Abstract

The article examines modern pedagogical strategies and approaches to teaching differential equations in higher education institutions. The relevance of the topic is due to the need to improve teaching methods to improve the quality of mathematical education. The purpose of the work is to analyze existing practices and identify the most effective methods of teaching this discipline. The methodological basis consists of system analysis, comparative analysis, questionnaires and statistical data processing. The empirical base includes the results of a survey of 120 teachers and 500 students from 15 universities in Russia. It was revealed that interactive teaching methods (correlation coefficient r=0.78), the use of specialized software (r=0.74) and interdisciplinary integration (r=0.71) demonstrate the greatest effectiveness. At the same time, traditional lecture and seminar classes remain important (r=0.65). The conclusion is made about the need for an integrated approach combining innovative and classical methods. The results of the study have theoretical value for the development of higher school pedagogy and can be used to optimize the teaching of mathematical disciplines. The prospects for further research are related to the study of the application of the identified approaches for different areas of training and levels of education.
