On the question of volunteering (volunteering) through life

Abstract

The relevance of the article is due to the fact that volunteering involves participation in the volunteer movement of all categories of people; the main participants are young people and people of the older generation ("silver volunteering"). The purpose of the article is to prove in a reasoned way that the "silver volunteers" are the most devoted representatives of "volunteerism (volunteerism) through life", strengthening the ideals of volunteerism. The essence of the "volunteer movement" is revealed, which consists in involvement in a certain type of activity, which is socially approved, and the reward is mutual energy exchange. As a practical part, a fragment of the thematic plan of the program "School of Silver Volunteering" is presented. It is proved that the activation of the movement of silver volunteers, the coordination of this movement, the development of intergenerational communications will allow achieving social effects in helping people, as well as in targeted support for their target groups.
