Abstract

The assessment of the quality of pedagogical activity of teachers of a military university is considered through the prism of the optimality of the cadet training system they implement. The purpose of the research is to theoretically substantiate and empirically verify the organizational and pedagogical conditions of professional development of teachers in the framework of experimental work. The methodological basis consisted of an analysis of scientific and pedagogical literature, modeling of the educational process and a comparative analysis of the results of the ascertaining and formative stages of the experiment on the basis of the Novosibirsk Higher Military Command School. The diagnostic study covered six military universities and 62 teachers, while the formative stage was carried out in two universities with the participation of 14 officers appointed to teaching positions for the first time. A set of indicators is proposed for assessing the quality of pedagogical activity, combining indicators of teaching effectiveness, professional development of the teacher, subjective satisfaction and impact on the educational system. It has been revealed that improving the effectiveness of teaching directly correlates with the realization of the resources of pedagogical education of officers. A project of a modular system of professional and personal growth of a teacher has been developed and tested, which assumes maximum individualization of learning trajectories, taking into account the professional experience of each specialist. It is proved that the implementation of this system contributes to the optimization of the didactic process and the growth of academic performance indicators of the variable composition. The results of the study can form the basis for the modernization of advanced training courses for the teaching staff of military educational institutions.
