Abstract

The article presents the substantive characteristics of the definition of "human resources reserve" in an educational organization. The author emphasizes that the modern understanding of the human resources reserve in an educational organization is related not only to solving current personnel issues, but also to the long-term development of the institution itself. In the context of constant changes in the education system, increasing requirements for teachers' professionalism, updating educational standards, and strengthening the role of in-school methodological work, it becomes clear that the effective functioning of an educational organization is impossible without the purposeful development of internal human resources. This is why the personnel reserve is increasingly being viewed as one of the key tools for sustainable development, allowing not only to respond to personnel changes, but also to prepare employees for new professional roles in advance. In this context, it is not the fact of an employee's inclusion in the reserve that is particularly significant, but rather the organization of systematic work on their professional development and competencies.
