Abstract

The paper examines the features of the implementation of federal educational projects in higher education institutions in the context of developing the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities in students. Modern state programs and projects in the education system are focused not only on training, but also on the education of students, their personal and further professional self-improvement. The authors consider various projects, regulatory legal acts as the basis for their functioning, as well as the implementation areas that provide students with maximum opportunities for personal growth and manifestation of their abilities. Various projects that are being implemented in Russia are analyzed: their content and significance are specified. In addition, the most important instrumental characteristics are studied, which allow students to be included in innovative, competitive, volunteer, and other activities. Emphasizing the importance of high-quality training for future specialists at universities, the authors focus on the formation of universal competencies as the basis for future professional competence. It is emphasized that the necessary skills and abilities are most effectively acquired through practical activities and in an environment that provides opportunities for self-realization and engaging in interesting and useful activities.
