Abstract

This article is devoted to the development of innovative pedagogy in vocal pedagogy and the possibility of their application in teaching sopranos. This topic is very relevant, as the soprano is widely used for various genres in the works of European composers: lyrical, romantic, comic, fantastic, tragic and epic. The bright timbre of the voice and the brilliance in the high register are considered as a decorative element, since the appearance of the singer, whose voice resembles bird roulades, becomes an important part of the performance. The purpose of this article is to develop innovative approaches for teaching sopranos. To achieve this goal, several tasks are consistently solved during the writing of this article: initially, the soprano is defined and its characteristics are described; then the available scientific and methodological literature on the problem of soprano teaching is analyzed; then innovative approaches that can be applied in soprano teaching within the framework of vocal pedagogy are formulated. This article may be useful for practitioners working in the field of vocal pedagogy in teaching sopranos, as well as students of secondary professional and higher educational institutions preparing to practice as a vocal teacher.
